Role Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving key business growth at all our public, investor-owned and municipal utilities of all sizes.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients
- Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
- Understand clients' needs and goals to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver solutions that meet client requirements
- Identify and pursue opportunities for account growth and expansion
- Prepare and present regular account status reports
- Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics
- Stay informed about Utility industry trends and competitor activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in account management or similar client-facing role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Proficiency in CRM software and Google Suite
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
Preferred Skills
- Experience in selling and accounts in the Utility industry in Canada / USA
- Knowledge of GIS, SCADA/ADMS systems
- Inbound and outbound customer management experience
