Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Account Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth by building new client relationships at public, investor-owned and municipal utilities of all sizes.
Key Responsibilities
- Expand and nurture a diverse client portfolio by identifying potential leads, and strategically growing our client base
- Drive revenue growth and enhance profitability through strategic upselling, promoting our comprehensive solution portfolio, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
- Engage actively in industry events, including marketing initiatives, exhibitions, client summits, sales conferences, and various networking opportunities to strengthen client relationships
- Develop a comprehensive technical grasp of our product offerings within the context of the utility market's technological ecosystem. Continuously refine your understanding of our solutions to customize pitches and demonstrations for diverse client profiles
- Establish and oversee a transparent sales pipeline, providing regular updates on progress through team meetings and meticulous documentation in our CRM
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or related field
- Positive attitude with a willingness to own problems and discover solutions
- Team sales background including managing all aspects of campaign metrics
- Min 5+ years of sales experience in a fast based, campaign style organization
- Demonstrated ability to sell across organizations, from C-level to operational personnel
- Highly evolved presentation and negotiation skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience in selling and accounts in the Utility industry in Canada / USA
- Knowledge of GIS, SCADA/ADMS systems
- SaaS Cloud software or platform, municipal or government customers, utility experience is an asset some start-up experience is preferred
- Motivated to grow in an entrepreneurial, rapidly growing company environment
